The Alliance Board of Directors is pleased to announce the addition of two new Board members: Dipty Jain and Julieta Mendez.
One of the hallmarks of the Alliance for Nonprofit Management is our long-standing commitment to including capacity builders from across the nonprofit sector, including consultants, academics, funders, intermediaries and nonprofit staff. Bringing new members to the Board at this time helps to ensure our continued commitment to meeting the needs of capacity builders with a range of interests, backgrounds and experiences.
Dipty Jain leads the National Consulting and Advisory Services team at FMA. She has worked with a wide range of nonprofit and philanthropic organizations in various stages of organizational development. Through this work, she has advised organizations in management and operations to strengthen their finance, human resources, and information technology infrastructures to become more efficient and realize their goals. She graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Dipty earned a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. She also holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Julieta Mendez brings a range of experience including grantmaking, fundraising, training, communications, outcomes management, and international development. As Director of Programs for Foundation Center’s Social Sector Outreach unit, she provides leadership for the organization’s training programs. Julieta holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business economics and political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master's degree in international relations from the School of Global Policy and Strategy at UCSD. She holds certificates in Fundraising Management from the Indiana University School of Fundraising Management, in Impact Measurement from Baruch College, School of Public Affairs at the City University of New York, and in Global Studies from the University of California Los Angeles.
We are thrilled to welcome both of these capacity builders to the Board of Directors!
