This group will focus on best practices for capacity builders and nonprofits as they manage their practices and performance to improve outcomes and achieve mission impact. Your participation and feedback will help shape the priorities and focus areas for the year.

What does it mean to transform nonprofit effectiveness?  This newly formed Interest Group will give Alliance members plenty of opportunity to explore ideas and best practices, review relevant research, and generate new ideas to apply in your practice.  Initial discussion topics might include questions such as:

1.       What does an effective or high performing nonprofit look like, vis a vis meeting its mission?  What does it look like for a nonprofit to improve at meeting its mission?

2.       What are the necessary practices a nonprofit can implement to improve at meeting its mission? 

3.       How can capacity building help nonprofits build, implement, and institutionalize these practices?
